My name is Tamim and I manage your training and diet needs. Since high school, I have been involved in fitness, nutrition, and wellness. I am passionate about the physical and spiritual well-being of individuals, and that’s why I kept learning about the subject matters through books and fitness conferences. I have undertaken personal training courses in Melbourne, Australia.
The idea of activeMuslimah came to me after I worked with my elder sister on her fitness and diet regime. I saw an immediate need of such a platform for at-home-muslimahs. In 2016, I realized that my sister was having trouble with her weight control. She is an at-home-muslimah mom raising two kids, and very active in day-to-day activities. However, due to lack of a structure around her physical activities and nutritional intake, her physical health was deteriorating which affected her self-esteem as well. As of 2017, she has lost 50 pounds of weight. All of this due to following a practical exercise plan and eating an affordable and healthy meal plan. Seeing her fit, healthy, happy, and confident gives a lot more meaning to my passion for fitness and wellness. I aim to share the same level of genuine support with every one of you!
